Ingredients
  1. 2 very ripe avocados
  2. 4 ounces 70% cacao baking chocolate, melted (this can be done over a double broiler or in a microwave! If making vegan, be sure to use dairy-free chocolate)
  3. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 1/3 cup almond or other non-dairy milk
  5. 1/3 cup maple syrup
  6. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  8. Sea Salt
  9. Optional toppings: chocolate whipped cream or coconut whipped cream, roughly-chopped dark chocolate, berries, nuts, etc.
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, combine the avocados, melted chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Puree until creamy.
  2. Spoon the mousse into four small ramekins.
  3. Chill for at least an hour.
  4. Serve the mousse topped with a dollop of whipped cream and/or your desired toppings.
